The Cottage raises awareness and facilitates the healing of individuals, families and communities affected by sexual violence and child abuse. We believe in the dignity of the individual, the ultimate right to make choices, advocacy for every person and the ability to heal. During FY2015, we served over 300 children impacted by child abuse and their families. We served over 150 adult survivors of child molestation and sexual assault. We fielded over 600 crisis hotline calls and paid for over 2500 sessions of therapy. Fundraising efforts raised 17,000 to pay for therapy for survivors of child abuse and sexual assault in our community. In FY2015, we added an adult advocate to the adult services staff. The Cottage reached over 30,000 people with community outreach and prevention efforts.
