LCBT has secured 47 conservation easements on 38 sites as of December 31, 2018. Currently, there are 33,808 acres of land under conservation easement and 80 acres owned at Fort Fair Lawn. LCBT operates a conservation education program that teaches an average of 2,000 individuals each year. LCBT hosts numerous environmental and conservation meetings, workshops, and forums. LCBT recently published a fourth edition of the book entitled 'A Day on Cooper River' by John Heaufain Irving, which was originally published in 1942.
