About this organization
Mission
Our mission is to unite local people and resources to improve lives in the New River Valley. Community building efforts are focused on generating and providing our community with resources to help meet local human needs in three specific impact areas: strengthening families & youth; improving self-sufficiency; and health & crisis intervention. The majority of our programs serve the communities of Montgomery County, Floyd County, Radford City; some programs serve neighboring Giles County and Pulaski County also. (We do not fund raise in Giles or Pulaski County as these communities have their own United Fund/Way respectively.)

Impact program: Community investment. Investing non-designated charitable dollars into four defined community areas: providing basic needs and achieving self-sufficiency, strengthening families and community, developing children and youth, and promoting health, wellness and crisis intervention.
