Provide non-medical in-home and community support to elderly and people with physical and intellectual disabilities, allowing them to remain in the home instead of in an institution or nursing facility. Personalized services provided include but are not limited to: assistance with bathing, toileting, dressing, mobility, meals, running errands, respite care, keeping the home clean and safe, community integration, life-skill training and supervision for safety. TIHC's CNAs and personal attendants support approximately 300 vulnerable people annually with an average of 6,000 hours of care per month.
