Mission

Land to Learn: Growing a movement for food justice and community wellness through garden-based education. We reach more than 5,000 K-2nd grade students each year in elementary schools in New York’s Hudson Valley, in the cities of Newburgh, Beacon, Kingston, and Garrison. We integrate nutrition education and experiential learning into public school classrooms by bringing dozens of classes each week outside to school gardens to grow and taste new vegetables, read and write, learn math and science, and learn about health and wellness.

About

Empowering children to be informed ecological citizens through year-round garden education focused on healthy eating, food literacy, environmental stewardship and academic success.
