Mission
Sight.org exists to proclaim the gospel to the most unserved regions of Africa by combating blindness through surgery and prevention.
About
As a tool to spread the gospel, our team is trained to identify good candidates for cataract treatment. We are not surgeons and are not required medical licensing of any kind. Using local licensed cataract surgeons, we treated 477 cataract patients during 2014. Post surgery patients of proper age can receive agricultural training and education to encourage self sufficiency as part of their recovery.
