The Leadership Springfield Adult Program trains class participants through a series of intensive daylong, once a month training sessions on leadership dynamics, civic awareness, criminal justice and public safety, communications and technology, arts and quality of life, health and medical services, education and lifelong learning, and the Springfield community. The goals of this program are to identify key individuals with leadership qualities and concern for Springfield's future, provide a base for rapport between class participants that will build common ground for present and future communications, provide a systematic educational program to familiarize participants with the community's opportunities, needs, problems and resources, and to highlight the leadership dynamics that move people and ideas.
