The dislocated worker program serves individuals who have lost their job through no fault of their own. The program provides career counseling, resume assistance, job search workshops, support services, funding for credential and non-credential training, and job placement services to assist participants to become re-employed. A total of 954 individuals were served in 2018. Of those served, 546 were exited counting towards performance goals for the year, with 428 of these counted as successful exits for a placement rate of 78%. Placed individuals attained an average of 95% of their previous wage (wage replacement based on average reported rate of $34.75, higher/lower than the wage at enrollment of $36.43).
