Mayday parade and festival: for 45 years on the first Sunday of May, thousands join the annual celebration of spring. In 2019, a record-setting 70,000 people attended the celebration. More than 2,000 participated in community designed workshops to build the event, and another 1,000 volunteers make the day-long parade, ceremony, and festival a success.
