WE ALSO CREATED A NEW PARTNERSHIP TEAM INCLUDING NEW BELGIUM, THE RIVER DISTRICT, TRES COLONES NEIGHBORHOODS AND GERMANS FROM RUSSIA TO PREPARE STORIES FOR THE NEXT HERITAGE GATEWAY PROJECT. IN ADDITION, WE CREATED 6 HERITAGE TRAIL ICONS FOR DISTRIBUTION AND BRANDING OF THE HERITAGE TRAIL THROUGHOUT THE REGION AND INCORPORATED THEM INTO THE GENERAL BROCHURE, WEBSITE, GATEWAY MARKERS AND ALL FUTURE MAPPING OF THE HERITAGE AREA. WE ALSO STARTED A NEW PROJECT CALLED "WATERING THE WEST" WITH PARTNERS BE REEL PICTURES LLC AND SANGRE DE CRISTO NATIONAL HERITAGE AREA TO CREATE A DOCUMENTARY OF EARLY WATER LAW IN THE WEST. ANOTHER HIGHLIGHT OF THE YEAR WAS THE ONGOING WATER LEGACY PROJECT WITH COLORADO STATE UNIVERSITY WATER ARCHIVES WHICH DOCUMENTS AND SHARES THE KNOWLEDGE OF WATER LEADERS FROM ACROSS THE STATE OF COLORADO.
