About
Snap reaches and helps thousands of victims of sexual assault each year. We provide peer consolation and guidance directly, through one-on-one contact (both face-to-face and via phone calls and emails), and peer support group meetings. We also help indirectly through our public advocacy and education. In addition, we help warn parents, parishioners, and the public about dangerous and potentially dangerous men and women who commit and/or conceal horrific crimes against children. Finally, we reach out to and respond to many in academia, counseling, journalism, medicine and law enforcement, helping them understand and better deal with clergy sex crimes and cover ups.
