Shalva's clinical program offers a 24-hour help/crisis line; domestic violence information and referrals; safety planning; individual and group counseling; financial assistance; legal support; case management and referrals. We tailor counseling and a myriad of supportive services for each woman's unique circumstances, whether it be creating a safety plan, increasing knowledge and understanding of domestic abuse and its effect on self-worth and children, decreasing isolation, developing coping skills and communication strategies, promoting self-care, strengthening parenting skills, and/or increasing awareness of the inter-generational cycle of domestic violence.
