Mission

The Beaman Home provides emergency shelter, education, and confidential services to survivors of domestic violence and/or sexual assault.

About

Beaman Home Emergency Shelter - In the safe haven of the shelter, each victim receives a warm bed, nutritious meals, clothing, and other personal care items. Our trained advocates are available 24/7 to help with goal setting, transportation, and encouragement. Every individual is offered the opportunity to receive one-on-one counseling with a qualified counselor. During their stay they receive individualized case management based on their personal circumstances. The overall goal of the shelter program is to help each victim take the first steps in her journey to becoming a domestic violence survivor. Our other programs continue to help each family after they have exited the shelter.
