Mission

We are a private, independent school whose mission is to provide each child the educational opportunity to discover, with perseverance and imagination, the joy of learning and the interconnectedness of our world. Our core values are integrity, inclusion, innovation, adventure and community.

About

We are a not for profit school instructing pre-kindergarten through sixth grade children (155 students in current year). Our teachers educate children for life, not for a test. Learning larger concepts rather than collections of disconnected facts requires students to become active participants in the world - and that is when learning sticks. The IB transdisciplinary approach does not teach subject by subject, instead this approach to learning teaches from a conceptual lens. Students study broad concepts that are housed under six transdisciplinary themes. This process prepares students with foundational skills to analyze and engage within a changing world.
