Marburn Academy is the only independent day school in central Ohio devoted to serving the educational needs of students with learning differences such as dyslexia, executive function difficulties and attention issues. Marburn is accredited by the Independent School Association of the Central States (ISACS) and is one of only 15 schools in the nation to have its language instruction program accredited by the Academy of Orton-Gillingham Practitioners and Educators (AOGPE). Marburn Academy is a growing program that serves around 283 day students in grades 2-12 across three divisions, and around 55 students in the summer school program. Marburn also seeks to improve the quality of education available to people with learning differences throughout central Ohio and the state. In this role, Marburn acts as a resource for parents, a demonstration center for model programs, and a training center for educators, psychologists, and other professionals.
