FOSTER CARE: HOUSE OF NEW HOPE'S TRAUMA-INFORMED TREATMENT FOSTER CARE PROGRAM IS A DISTINCT, POWERFUL, AND UNIQUE MODEL OF CARE THAT PROVIDES CHILDREN WITH A COMBINATION OF THE BEST ELEMENTS OF FOSTER CARE AND RESIDENTIAL TREATMENT CENTERS. IN TREATMENT FOSTER CARE, THE POSITIVE ASPECTS OF THE NURTURING AND THERAPEUTIC FAMILY ENVIRONMENT ARE COMBINED WITH ACTIVE AND STRUCTURED TRAUMA-INFORMED TREATMENT. THE TRAUMA-INFORMED TREATMENT FOSTER PROGRAM PROVIDES, IN A CLINICALLY EFFECTIVE AND COST-EFFECTIVE WAY, INDIVIDUALIZED AND INTENSIVE TREATMENT FOR CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS WHO WOULD OTHERWISE BE PLACED IN INSTITUTIONAL SETTINGS. THE PROGRAM SERVES OVER 225 TRAUMATIZED CHILDREN EACH YEAR RANGING IN AGES FROM BIRTH THROUGH 21 YEARS OLD IN NEED OF SUBSTITUTE CARE DUE TO NEGLECT, ABUSE, OR BEHAVIORAL DISORDERS. CHILD-SAFETY RELATED OUTCOMES: 1. 100% OF YOUTH SERVED ARE KEPT SAFE FROM ABUSE/NEGLECT WHILE UNDER CARE OF PROVIDER. 2. LESS THAN 1% OF CHILDREN ARE INVOLVED IN AWOL EVENTS. 3. TOP 25 PERCENTILE IN ALL REPORTED CFSR INDICATORS FOR ALL FRANKLIN AND CUYAHOGA COUNTY PROVIDERS. 4. TIMELY REUNIFICATION - TOP 50 PERCENTILE FOR ALL FRANKLIN COUNTY PROVIDERS. 5.
