JOB ASSESSMENT - ENROLLED 64 PARTICIPANTS PER MONTH. HOUSING ASSISTANCE - HELPED 250 PARTICIPANTS ACQUIRE AND COMPLETE AND SUBMIT APLLICATIONS FOR LOW INCOME HOUSING AND HOUSING ASSISTANCE. LANGUAGE AND CITIZENSHIP: INTERPRETING - ASSISTED IN 320 LEGAL CASES AND 2,000 MEDICAL APPOINTMENTS. PROVIDED TRANSLATIONS IN ENGLISH, SOMALI, MAI-MAI, KISWAHILI, KIZIGUA, AND OTHER MINOR AFRICAN LANGUAGES AND DIALECTS. ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE - PROVIDED DAILY CLASSES FOR UP TO 40 STUDENTS WHOSE NATIVE LANGUAGE DIDN'T HAVE A WRITTEN FORM. CITIZENSHIP CLASSES - PROVIDED INSTRUCTION FOR OVER 200 PARTICIPANTS AND ACHIEVED 217 INDIVIDUALS RECEIVING CITIZENSHIP. HEALTH AND SANITATION: PROVIDED INSTRUCTION TO INDIVIDUALS FROM RURAL AREAS ON HOW TO LIVE IN DENSELY POPULATED URBAN AREAS. INSTRUCTION WAS PROVIDED TO 40 INDIVIDUALS PER MONTH. YOUTH AND PARENTING: PROVIDED TUTORING AND MENTORING TO 130 HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS. ENROLLED 37 STUDENTS IN DAILY AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS. ASSISTED 31 STUDENTS WITH BUDGETING, PERSONAL FINANCE, GANG DIVERSION, CULTURE SUSTAINABLITY AND DRUG PREVENTION. WE ALSO PROVIDED YOUTH COMMUNICATION CLASSES FOR 12 STUDENTS AND PARENTING CLASSES FOR 45 PARTICIPANTS.
