Education Burma Thailand Myanmar (EBTM) was formed on 7/22/2014 with the mission of: a) funding Myanmar migrant education programs in Thailand. b) facilitating and funding programs for the migrant students' return to Myanmar. c) creating and funding programs in Myanmar for migrant and other needy students. d) In 2016, EBTM added agricultural, educational and community development programs in Myanmar. EBTM programs carry on and expand Bill Harrison's work on education in Thailand which started after the Asian tsunami in 2004, where he raised operating funds for the Chiang Mai Learning Center from 2005-2009 and the Beam Education Foundation from 2010-2014.

EBTM Piti Social Media Project - MyanmarPiti ('From the Heart') promotes social harmony with entertaining short videos aimed at the smartphones of the young in Myanmar. Our combined animation and live action videos posted on our Facebook page have attracted many more followers than anticipated. Our goal is to persuade the young to take an active role in improving the social problems affecting Myanmar. Our videos are educational, no religious or political. Our Myanmar sponsor is Smile Education Foundation, a registered Myanmar charity.
