About this organization
Mission
Our mission is to eliminate local childhood hunger — one child at a time. We also believe prayer is as equally important as the food we distribute, and are committed to praying for each and every student. We deliver hope to children across West Michigan, who range from early childhood through high school. By partnering with churches and schools, we provide backpacks filled with nutritious food that’s covered in prayer.
About
Hand 2 Hand provided hope over the weekends to hungry children who meet the qualifications to receive free or reduced lunch. Approximately 6,300 children were fed each weekend. This feeding is accomplished with volunteers who gave hundreds of hours and in-kind contributions of food, time, storage, office space and miscellaneous services. The value of these goods and services approximated 3,108,000.
