Anchal's mission is to use design and collaboration to provide economic opportunities for marginalized women to empower themselves through the creation of sustainable products, holistic programs, and global market access. Specifically, Anchal provides careers in design and eco-friendly textile production to women forced into the commercial sex trade in Ajmer, India, and Louisville, Kentucky.

IN 2018, ANCHAL PROVIDED SERVICES TO 180 EXPLOITED WOMEN IN AJMER, INDIA AND 7 WOMEN IN LOUISVILLE, KY. THE HOLISTIC PROGRAM GAVE FEMALE COMMERCIAL SEX WORKERS, SURVIVORS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND WOMEN VULNERABLE TO ENTERING THE SEX TRADE 130 JOBS IN TEXTILES AND 180 SKILLS TRAINING IN SEWING, DESIGN, EMBROIDERY AND NATURAL DYEING. WOMEN IN THE PROGRAM ARE ALSO GIVEN MONTHLY EDUCATION WORKSHOPS, HEALTH BENEFITS, AND A SUPPORTIVE COMMUNITY. ANCHAL INCREASED ITS MARKET ACCESS FOR THE ARTISANS' TEXTILES. THE ARTISANS CREATED 8,626 PIECES AND 8,046 WERE SOLD IN 2018. THE WOMEN, NOW ARTISANS, CONTINUE TO MAKE SIGNIFICANT IMPROVEMENTS TO THEIR LIVES WITH THEIR INCREASED INCOME AND LEAD EMPOWERED LIVES. ALL ARTISANS HAVE A PERSONAL BANK ACCOUNT AND EARN 30-100% HIGHER MONTHLY INCOME THAN BEFORE JOINING. 90% CAN NOW AFFORD HEALTH CARE. 65% PURCHASED THEIR FIRST HOME OR MADE HOME IMPROVEMENTS. 100% ARE INVESTING IN THEIR CHILDREN'S EDUCATION, RESULTING IN THE ELIMINATION OF INTER-GENERATIONAL PROSTITUTION FOR 540 CHILDREN. ANCHAL SPREAD GREATER AWARENESS ABOUT GLOBAL HUMAN TRAFFICKING AND ITS MISSION AT 22 SPEAKING ENGAGEMENTS, 28 POP-UP SHOPS AND INCREASED WEBSITE ACTIVITY.
