Implement programs and services in the South Florida Community designed to:1) Bridge the digital divide in South Florida. Primary focus area for these programs and services in Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach.2) Educate our economy in the use of the tools of technology. Painting the picture of how new technology skills and fully connected community can enhance the quality of life for all residents.3) Increase access for South Florida residents to the tools of technology by establishing community based Technology Learning Centers (TLCs) in convenient public spaces; especially in underserved areas of our community.4) Assist nonprofit and educational organizations with affordable connectivity, technology assets, services and training.5) Connect all residents of our community to affordable techomogy assets, access and training.6) Sponsor techology learning programs and events to increase the adoption of technology and techology skills, and to educate our residents about how technology and applications can provide new economic, educational, and social opportunities.7) Refurbish and re-license donated technology equipment to be used in community learning centers, nonprofit organizations, and educatinal institutions.8) Recycle donated equipment that cannot be repurposed in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines.
