Gargiulo Education Center provides a daily, free afterschool academic tutorial and enhancement program for migrant children kindergarten through grade 12. The program is open all school days. Support is provided to the children to complete their assigned public school homework assignments, tutorial time for those areas of difficulty, group and individual reading. Enrichment activities include STEAM projects, community speakers and presentations provided at the center, and 2 field trips annually. Students are also provided hearing and vision screening, mental health screening, and special needs. In addition, the children receive a hot meal and snack provided by the state.
