GASOPHE prioritizes health issues and areas of concern each year and partners with organizations to impact policy and programs throughout the state. Some local issues they have participated in include: Tobacco prevention and control, Cover GA - health insurance, Diabetes prevention, Cancer prevention, HIV/AIDS/Sexual health, School health, Obesity prevention, Worksite wellness, Mental health and wellness.
