Provide uninsured and underinsured residents of Centre County with access to free preventative and acute primary health care: In FY 2018 provided 443 unique patients in the medical clinic with 2,019 patient visits, including 1,248 appointments with volunteer physicians and nurse practitioners. Other visits included nurse appointments, mental health consults, disease management education and lab draws. Staff and volunteers utilize a referral network to assist patients to access ancillary services such as x-ray, ultrasound and other diagnostic testing, and specialty services such as orthopedist, cardiologist and optometrist care.
