LAST YEAR, CCN'S COMMUNITY BASED EDUCATION PROGRAM REACHED 1,208 COMMUNITY MEMBERS. OUR PREVENTION PROGRAMMING REACHED 12 DIFFERENT DISTRICTS OR PRIVATE SCHOOLS IN THE COMMUNITY, SPREADING THE MESSAGE TO 10,150 STUDENTS, REPRESENTING 18% OF THE 55,000 YOUTHS ENROLLED AT SCHOOLS WIHTIN CCN'S SERVICE PROVISION AREA. FINALLY, THE ORGANIZATION'S MEDICAL ADVOCACY PROGRAM OFFERED TRAINING TO 836 INDIVIDUALS IN THE HEALTHCARE FIELD. THE ORGANIZATION'S PREVENTION EFFORTS ARE NO SMALL FEAT FOR A PREVENTION TEAM CONSISTING OF 2.25 FTE'S.CCN'S 24-HOUR HOTLINE, STAFFED BY VOLUNTEERS PROVIDES ROUND-THE-CLOCK ACCESS TO CRISIS COUNSELING AND IS A DIRECT CONNECTION TO 24-HOUR ON CALL ADVOCACY SERVICES PROVIDED BY CCN'S ADVOCACY TEAM.
