Our mission is to provide advocacy and counseling for all who have been affected by sexual violence and other crimes against the person; and to promote sensitivity and awareness in the community through education. VSC serves all residents of Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, regardless of age, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, and gender or income level.

Sexual assault program: VSC provides free and comprehensive support services to victims of sexual assault and their significant others including the following: a - immediate 24 hour crisis intervention via two 24 hour hotlines, accompaniments to hospital/police stations as requested as a result of a rape, and referrals to community resources; b - counseling services -including individual counseling for sexual assault survivors; support groups; c - a child abuse treatment program (direct service to children and non offending parents/caregivers); and in-person intake assessments; d - advocacy services which included assisting victims in receiving crime victims compensation assistance and with victim impact statements.
