In this past year, Mainstage Center for the Arts programs in the performing and fine arts impacted the lives of 750 registrants and played before audiences of 28,300 people. Our Summer Stage program offered instruction in theatrical performance, technical theatre, and film/video production. Summer Stage produced 5 fully staged musicals in addition to musical revues, concerts, and a film premiere. Our studio education program taught classes in acting, dance, voice, and musical theatre to over 200 registrants. Our harmony and encore show choirs performed 30 times throughout the South Jersey region. Mainstage's Pumpkin Festival in downtown Blackwood involved 200 vendors and presented performances on 3 stages for 10,000 people in attendance.
