The Count Basie Center for the Arts is New Jersey's top ticket-selling theater venue, in a tally released by Pollstar, the official publication of the live events and concert touring industry. The Count Basie Center has achieved this #1 ranking for four consecutive years. With more than 220,000 tickets sold a year, the Count Basie Center is the 30th best-selling venue of its size worldwide. In the fiscal year ended June 30, 2019, the Count Basie Center presented 133 performances, 55 rock/pop shows, 17 comedy acts, 28 family presentations and 11 Broadway shows, plus a number of classical/vocal, country, dance, spoken word/ lecture and world music performances and 16 feature films.
