Our mission is to support K-8 Mandarin instruction within the San Mateo-Foster City School District in order to enable students from all backgrounds the opportunity to develop a mastery of Mandarin Chinese language and appreciation of Chinese culture.

Witkids Inc.

Mission

Witkids, Inc. (Wit) provides the only 6 unit college credit social entrepreneur and leadership course in the country for high school teens. Upon completion of the once a week 34 week course, teens earn 6 units of transferable college credit form UCSD. Teens accepted into Wit learn how to design and launch, manage and measure, a social enterprise or project. Over the years, teens have launched enterprises that have made a local and national impact.

Beyond Differences

Mission

To inspire students at middle and high schools nationwide to end social isolation and to create a culture of belonging for everyone. We are a student-led social justice movement and a source of professional development for educators for Inclusion based on Social Emotional Learning evidence-based methods. Beyond Differences is the nation’s leader on social isolation among middle school youth. Since it’s founding in 2010, more than 8600 schools across the country have used Beyond Differences programs and 550,000 students have been impacted.

Jds Creative Academy

Mission

JDSCA inspires and enhances education and training in visual, performing, and digital arts. Our target population is anyone looking for an education in the arts or enrichment in the STEM to STEAM model of education. We serve: foster, trauma, and autistic youth as well as autistic young adults, and the general population ages four to adult. In 2017, we became a video production state approved apprenticeship program in partnership with the State of California and Mt. San Jacinto College. Our apprenticeship has 10 O'Net job codes. We are also a full-service training vendor for Inland Regional Center, servicing up to 30 adults with developmental disabilities. We work with VIP, Exceed, and the Department of Rehabilitation who send us disabled and autistic adults to whom we teach job skills.

San Francisco Students Back on Track

The organization successfully provided free one-on-one tutoring and academic mentorship program for underserved K-12 students in the community. Volunteers, mentors, and students from diverse ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds met weekly to learn together, exchanged ideas, and promoted cross-cultural understanding and tolerance.
