Mission

JDSCA inspires and enhances education and training in visual, performing, and digital arts. Our target population is anyone looking for an education in the arts or enrichment in the STEM to STEAM model of education. We serve: foster, trauma, and autistic youth as well as autistic young adults, and the general population ages four to adult. In 2017, we became a video production state approved apprenticeship program in partnership with the State of California and Mt. San Jacinto College. Our apprenticeship has 10 O'Net job codes. We are also a full-service training vendor for Inland Regional Center, servicing up to 30 adults with developmental disabilities. We work with VIP, Exceed, and the Department of Rehabilitation who send us disabled and autistic adults to whom we teach job skills.

About

Program services include classes and workshops as well as hands on experience working events where participants put on productions, build sets, make costumes, and use video and audio equipment. In 2018 there were more than 320 people from the community that participated in our programs.
