Mission

D.U.E. Season Charter School (the charter school) strives to significantly impact the lives of urban learners in a manner that builds successful contributors to the American society through the establishment of a K8 learning laboratory charter school. The technology-rich academic program of our charter school is a model geared towards the academic success of the urban learner. The charter school continues to find solutions to technical problems in curriculum and assessment, teaching and learning, and teacher/student interaction. The model, based on resiliency theory and brain and learning research, offers an alternative to the traditional means of educating urban youth, replicable throughout urban America, and utilized as a tool to close the 'achievement' gap.

About

Effective July 1, 2014, the charter school ceased its operations as a result of the non renewal of its charter. During the fiscal years 2015, 2016, 2017 & 2018, only dissolution activities were conducted such as collection of receivables, disposition of all capital assets owned and liabilities owed by the charter school including the remaining unexpired term of equipment leases, payment of outstanding liabilities and collection of amounts due the charter school.
