Q Foundation believes in a world where all people have a safe, decent and affordable home. Toward that vision we prevent homelessness for the LGBTQ, HIV+, senior, and disabled communities by protecting the housing we already have, providing resources to secure new housing, and promoting public policy to expand opportunity for all.

Q Foundation - Aids Housing Alliance SF (AHA-SF) helps prevent homelessness for people with HIV/AIDS by protecting the housing people already have, providing resources to help secure new housing and promoting public policy to increase housing opportunities. During the year the Organization provided housing referrals, apartment listings, rent assistance, tenants right counseling and advocacy to their clients. The Organization also assisted its members navigate the various rental assistance programs and helped landlords better understand how to accommodate the need for its members. Since 2007 the Organization has operated AHA Caf (Aids Housing Alliance Caf) to support employment program for people with HIV/AIDS. Q Foundations Senior or Disabled Subsidy Program has stabilized the housing of families since April 2015. During the fiscal year the organization provided rental assistance to over 350 members.
