During fiscal year 2019, Trees New York trained over 300 citizen pruneres, representing every borough of New York, to care for our city's street trees. Trees New York also reached over 700 elementry, middle, and high school public school students through its youth programs, and for the ninth year conducted its young urban forester summer intern program. Trees New York additionaly engaged over 170 corporate employees in tree stewardship from various companies and organized numerous enviromental workshops designed to expose its volunteers, students, and citizen pruners to New York City's diverse local ecologies.
