The Fiscal 2019 programming year included continued work on David Gordons multi-year and faceted permanent archive for the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts Project, David Gordon commission to make a new work at the Museum of Modern Art in NYC, and two of Ain Gordons productions toured nationally.Archiveography, the name David Gordon has given to his multi-year archive project, continued. All of his physical, archival materials were donated and moved to the permanent collection at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts last year. Public access to David Gordons archive are available online and work on the site in FY19 included adding 2 new sections, one for his latest collage works and the beginning of a section dedicated to founding PUPC member Valda Setterfield. His archival materials can be accessed by the public at the archive web www.davidgordon.nyc. Over 500 videos and moving images of his work can be viewed by searching David Gordon at https://digitalcollections.nypl.org/.Pick Up Performance Co. was commissioned by the Museum of Modern Art in New York City to produce a new work by David Gordon THE MATTER@MOMA/2018 for two weeks in live perfromce residency in the museum October 9-20, 2018 where his working ensemble of nineteen performers were viewable to the public in the Marron Atrium in the museum during visiting hours. Pick Up Performance Co. produced touring performances of two of Ain Gordons works: 217 Boxes of Dr. Henry Anonymous, a play written and directed by Ain Gordon, was presented by the University of Kansas and Transylvania University and his production titled Radicals in Minature toured to Williams College, Connecticut College, and Fairfield College.
