HealthCare Chaplaincy Network’s mission is to relieve suffering and provide comfort and support for people at their most challenging moments – during life-changing and life-ending illness and at other times of profound transition. HCCN provides chaplain services in hospitals and by phone or email through our call center, caring for people of all backgrounds and beliefs. We also educate chaplains, nurses, social workers, doctors, and others in best spiritual care practices, and advance research into the benefits of spiritual care – for patients, families, medical staff, and institutions. Decades of evidence affirm the positive impact of chaplaincy care on patient satisfaction, quality of life, and even health outcomes.
