Housing - This program assists individuals living with HIV/AIDS who are currently homeless, at risk for homelessness or living in unhealthy conditions. The services provided include a) direct subsidy of permanent and transitional housing, b) housing placement assistance, c) workshops to aid in the development of independent living skills and d) referrals where applicable to other services both within and outside the Agency. The programs are supported by the federal HOPWA program, the federal Ryan White program and the NYC HASA Transitional and Scatter Site programs. Since inception of our housing programs, we have served and/or supported more than 5,000 individuals.
