Recycling: 2018 was the most turbulent time in modern recycling history. Marketplace disruptions continued throughout 2019, at times severely impacting larger municipal programs. Because of our long history of educating our community about recycling, collaborative relationships, reputation for excellence with buyers, and strong public support, we continued to provide stable, successful, full-service recycling in rural N. Central Washington. 6,000 residents of all ages and over 1 million visitors served. We saw an 11% growth in recycling center traffic, expanded recycling services at community events including a 30 year-old music festival with over 3,500 attendees and annual marathon with 1,200 participants.
