Great Peninsula Conservancy protected 233 acres of ecologically valuable lands including nearly three miles of streams, 20 acres of estuary/tidelands, four acres of freshwater wetland, and one mile of marine shoreline. The new wildlife preserves protect forest, wetland, stream, and tidal habitats for birds, bears, salmon, marine mammals, and other wildlife.
