Great Peninsula Conservancy is an accredited land trust dedicated to protecting forever the natural habitats, rural landscapes, and open spaces of west Puget Sound. It conserves shorelines, salmon streams, evergreen forests, and community green spaces throughout Kitsap, north Mason, and west Pierce County in Washington.

Program: Conservation - working with partners and community groups, Great Peninsula Conservancy protected lands and waters in Kitsap, Mason, and Pierce counties, WA for wildlife and people. Great Peninsula Conservancy protected 233 acres of ecologically valuable lands including nearly three miles of streams, 20 acres of estuary/tidelands, four acres of freshwater wetland, and one mile of marine shoreline. The new wildlife preserves protect forest, wetland, stream, and tidal habitats for birds, bears, salmon, marine mammals, and other wildlife.
