Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place. We provide age-appropriate programming for girls 5 – 17 years in adolescent and pre-adolescent peer group “troops” mentored by caring, trained adult volunteers. In addition to peer group mentoring, we provide career and leadership education, community-based service learning, an emphasis on physical and emotional health, and a sense of belonging that help protect girls from engaging in delinquency, drug abuse, bullying and teen pregnancy. Girls are educated and empowered to take action to strengthen their physical and emotional health and positively impact their communities and the world.
