About
San Francisco Beautiful proudly launched the fifth year of our signature project, Muni Art. This project started in 2015, is a collaboration between the SFMTA and the Poetry Society of America which introduces the work of five local poets and artists to over 750,000 Muni riders on 100 public buses from January through April. To date, the project has introduced 25 local artists and 15 local poets to the San Francisco community. In 2019, San Francisco Beautiful launched two new art projects, Art On Site and Art Trail SF. Art On Site, a project that coordinates with privately owned space and artists, produced two major art public mural projects. Art Trail SF maps public art throughout the city, creating art walks in every neighborhood that can be accessed by residents and visitors.
