The Winter Shelter for the homeless provides a hot, nutritious dinner, breakfast and a safe, warm overnight rest for some 100 homeless men every night from the Sunday before Thanksgiving through the end of March in 2019. The SFIC coordinates four host-site congregations, 50 meal-providing congregations, and shelter staff, with input from the Department of Homelessness and Supportive Housing.
