Rebuilding Together Peninsula's (RTP) brings volunteers and communities together to improve the homes and lives of our low-income neighbors. We are a safe and healthy housing organization that believes community starts at home. Our focus provides critical repairs, accessibility modifications and energy-efficient upgrades to low-income homes and community centers at no cost to service recipients. Our impact extends beyond the individuals served to revitalize and stabilize vulnerable neighborhoods and communities through our three core programs: National Rebuilding Day, Safe at Home and Team Build. From Daly City to Sunnyvale, approximately 1,700 homeowners and 400 community centers have witnessed the place they call home transform before their very eyes with the help of 60,000 volunteers.

Over the last 30 years, Rebuilding Together Peninsula has worked tirelessly to provide repairs and renovations for the peninsula's most vulnerable neighbors. We have built the expertise and infrastructure needed to tackle the needs for the peninsula's low-income homeowners. Our focus provides critical health and safety repairs and modifications to vulnerable homes and community centers, at no cost to service recipients. At the end of fiscal year 2018, Rebuilding Together Peninsula completed 270 projects with the help of 1,592 volunteers, contributing about 17,168 construction hours, which was combined with monetary support and $615,502 donated materials and skilled labor. Every other year, Rebuilding Together Peninsula's special event, Dreams Happen, raises funds to cover operating expenses for two years. This year was not a Dreams Happens year.
