VHS is a shelter for homeless cats and dogs, working to find permanent homes for the animals via adoption to suitable parties. As a result, it spays and neuters incoming animals, tests for various diseases, provides appropriate vaccinations, ensures the provision of requisite medical care and cares for, feeds, houses, and nurtures the animals until such adoption occurs.
