Restore Oregon’s mission is to preserve, reuse and pass forward the historic places and spaces that reflect Oregon’s diverse cultural heritage and make our communities inclusive, vibrant, livable and sustainable. We work statewide to promote inclusive historic preservation as a means of preserving our region’s cultural heritage, and as a tool for solving challenges such as insufficient affordable housing, stalled economic development a negative impacts from climate change. Our five person staff and twelve-member board of directors advocates for effective policies and incentives, delivers quality educational programs, and directly intervenes to save endangered places that matter to Oregonians.
