About this organization
Mission
The mission of Community Connection of NE Oregon, Inc. is to advocate for and assist senior citizens, children, low-income persons, and persons with disabilities in attaining basic human needs and in becoming more self-sufficient.
About
Low-income programs: Many Northeast Oregon residents struggle to make ends meet; those who do often rely on Community Connection's services to help meet their basic human needs, especially food, rent, and utilities. With our guidance, many homeowners avoided foreclosure. We continued the Kids Club before and after school program and our children's summer lunch program. We continued replacing unsafe furnaces, weatherizing homes, and rehabilitating homes to improve living conditions and address structural concerns.
