Mission

The mission of the YMCA of Klamath Falls is to put Christian principles into practice for all by promoting youth development, encouraging healthy living, and practicing social responsibility. YMCAs are at the heart of community life in neighborhoods and towns across the nation. Ys are for people of all faiths, races, abilities, ages and incomes. No one is turned away for inability to pay. YMCAs' strength is in the people they bring together. Ys meet local community needs through organized activities called programs. In its own way, every Y nurtures the healthy development of children and teens; strengthens families; and makes its community a healthier, safer, better place to live. YMCA programs are tools for building the values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.

About

Our YMCA provides high quality child care and is one of two southern Oregon providers with a 5 star QRIS rating. We were one of a few providers in Oregon selected to offer the preschool promise. This was a first time Oregon program that offered free full time preschool to low income families. In addition we provided both full and part time options to serve a wide range of family scheduling needs.
