This program provides support, professional development training and resources to licensed child care providers. In FY19, AEYC supported 426 childcare providers with 40 different trainings for a total of 1,908 training hours. 30 providers were provided assistance in receiving their child development associate credential. 20 programs received onsite technical assistance. 20 providers received quality improvement grants to assist with program excellence. All 56 SE providers were given personal technical assistance in getting enrolled in SEED and Learn and Grow which are the state of Alaska quality rating scale for child care programs. We awarded educational wage incentives to 35 providers who had higher education credentials. Our annual SE early conference was attended by over 200 early educators who received 3 days of training on social emotional support in the childcare environment.
