Our mission is to create and support one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth. We serve youth throughout Alaska with offices in Anchorage, Fairbanks, Juneau, and Mat-Su.

Recruit, screen and train volunteers to match as mentors with at-risk youth. After the match is made, provide continuous and professional support and monitoring of the match to ensure safety and quality. In 2018, 93 new matches were made and 469 children were served across the state of Alaska in the four urban centers, Anchorage, Mat-Su Borough, Fairbanks and Juneau. Offices in the small communities of Haines, Homer, Hoonah and Sitka were consolidated in 2018 but existing matches are still supported.
