About this organization
Mission
The mission of the Pacific Northwest Quilt & Fiber Arts Museum is to present exhibitions and educational programs in all fiber arts that enrich and inspire, honor cultural traditions and celebrate the creative spirit.
About
The museum served approximately 8,700 visitors and students in 2018 and presented 26 exhibits to the public. The museum leased a new space to store its permanent collection and serve as our education and conservation annex. The annual quilt & fiber arts festival was moved to the Edward D Hanson conference center in Everett, WA allowing for the festival activities to be in one location. Educational programming was reviewed and a new structure was adopted to begin implementing in 2019: workshops & classes, 'Let's Start Series (beginning classes in all aspects of quilting and fiber arts,) and the Heritage Series (programs designed to explore fiber arts and textiles in different cultures and traditions).
