Sound Salmon Solutions connects people to our watersheds to ensure the future of salmon in the Stillaguamish, Snohomish, and Island County watersheds through interactive education, habitat restoration and engaged stewardship

Habitat: In 2018, Sound Salmon Solutions (SSS) worked on 34 habitat restoration and enhancement projects throughout the Snohomish and Stillaguamish watersheds including invasive species removal, riparian planting, vegetation monitoring and in-stream designs to improve water quality as well as habitat quality and quantity. Throughout the year, Sound Salmon Solutions planted over 12,100 native plants across 16.6 acres involving 333 individual community volunteers and students that donated an accumulative 691 hours.
